I'm Jared Edberg — currently Director of Strategy & Business Operations at Nevados, a solar hardware startup, after stints in program management (Chevron), operations (Square), and product and revenue operations (also Nevados). Before any of that, chemical engineering at Texas A&M.

I built Skip The Boards while running my own job search. The part that wore me down wasn't finding roles — it was the roles themselves: half of what shows up on LinkedIn or Indeed routes through Workday, iCIMS, or Oracle, which usually means creating yet another account, re-typing a resume that's already attached, and answering the same demographic questions for the twentieth time. So this only indexes companies whose career pages run on Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby — platforms that let you apply in a few minutes, not a few accounts.

It pulls directly from about 4,300 companies' own career pages on a refresh schedule, rather than re-posting listings from another job board — so there's no middleman and nothing waiting to go stale. Search is boolean-aware, there's a resume-match heuristic if you want it, and an "AI Search" button that's really just a guided, click-through way to fill in the same filters (it's a scripted set of questions, not an actual AI model — no account or API key involved, see the FAQ for more).

It's free, no account required to search. Figured other people slogging through the same job hunt could use it too, so here it is.
